Easy Night Habits

To fall asleep 

  •  Drink Chamomile tea in the evening or a few hours   before bed  
  • Go to sleep around the same time every night (yes, even on the weekends)
  • Eat a banana before bed 
  • If you have a pet sleep in the same room as them (if it makes you feel more comfortable and at rest) 
  • Stretch before you go to bed (even just for 10 min)
  • Avoid looking at blue lights (e.g. phone, computer, TV, etc) 

To lose weight 

  • Drink a cup of warm water before you sleep 
  • Do some light exercise before bed or in your bed (e.g. 50 crunches)
  • Drink some warm milk or have a protein shake as a late night snack

To feel happier

  • Spend time with your parents or guardian after school or work
  • Don’t spend a lot of time on devices: read a book, hang with family or friends 
  • Food prep the night before 
  • Plan your clothes for the next day
  • Organise anything that needs to be
  • Clean up your room (and if you really don’t want to at least don’t add to it)
  • Cuddle your pets (if you have any)
